Biography

Peter was one of the founding players of The Saints Skittles Team He is Chairman of St Mary's Old Boys RFC.
Born in a manger under the Star public House in 1909 Phelper always new he was destined to be 'special'. From humble beginnings it was obvious he was headed for the gutter which is where he puts a good proportion of his skittle balls! So often does Phelper end up there that the Saint's fine system had to be ammended because his long suffering wife (The Dragon - his words not mine!) threatened not to let him play anymore as it was costing him too much. Not one of our more prolific scorers, so far this season Phelpo has managed an average of 22.25 pins in four outings. However he sums up the teams ethos perfectly having contributed a whopping £13.50 in fines mainly due to, less than three 20p's, Gutter balls (added increments of 50p) Ducks -£1 a time and his major failing - SWANKING! He has strutted like a peacock before the be-pensioned ladies of many a team this season
