Well RAIN
RAIN RAIN !!!. I Hope this is the
last of the Monsoon period we are having at the moment.We will be looking at
Booking All Weather Courts on Weds and Sundays in the next few weeks, so please
look on Web Pages for details.
Clothing
Please remember now the Weather is turning colder to make
sure all children are dressed in the appropriate Clothing. Maybe a visit to the
KIT CUPBOARD is due !!(Hats, Gloves Skins etc)
First Aiders
We have a
course booked for
This means after sat we will have at least 2 First Aiders per Age Group which is what we were hoping to Achieve.
Sponsors Meeting
We are looking for 2 people from each Age Group to join Mel on the Sponsors committee, Mel and Sue look after all the donations and sponsorship given to individual age groups . They want help from the Minis Parents . They have a Meeting once a month to decide what to use the money for.
The next meeting is on Weds 30/01 at the Club (oh my B/day !!) Please come and join in.
KIT
The Extra Shirts we are waiting for will be with us End Feb / Early March. When they do come we can sell the old ones if wanted for £5 , with money going back into the club ..
As before when they do arrive we will be asking for an Undated Cheque for £30

We have banked all deposits now and have Appointed a Tour Committee, Games will be on the Sunday V Barnstable and Bideford. Tour shirts will be available to order and form is on the Website
St Marys Festival
We are starting the process of sorting out the festival and we are looking for SPONSORS .Please if anyone can help in anyway see me or Dave Jones.
Kit Cupboard
As I informed everyone before Jo and Pete Bishop are doing a great job BUT they are stepping down at the end of the season SO we will need someone or share the responsibility of looking after the Kit Cupboard. Please can you come and see me if interested. If no one comes forward it may lead to a Rota of Age Groups to cover the running of the Cupboard.
Questionaire
There will soon be a questionnaire form situated in the clubhouse which you can fill in and put back in a box. Questions on the form will ask how you think the club is running and what suggestions you have. Feel free to fill in as you do not have to put your name to it.
Billys Haircoming Charity Event Sunday 3rd

If you haven’t noticed Billy’s hair is getting LONGER !!.He is also known now as WURZEL GUMMIDGE !!. WELL Billy has had enough !, He is offering 3 Mini Children to take to the Shaver and take it all off for him. Billy will be selling tickets for his choice of a Charity.
Sport Shop Discount
We have Professional Sport And Fitness, a Sports Shop in Longwell Green coming to our Festival to sell all Rugby gear , Canterbury Skins, Boots , Armour , etc.
If anyone wants any kit , please visit their shop in Longwell Green where they will give a 15% discount for St Marys if you say my name as contact.
Upcoming Social Events--
There will be an ADULTS CURRY-OKE night at the club on Friday 29TH Feb 2008.(7.30-12) This will be a Fun Karaoke night !! PLUS a curry !!!. Tickets will be sold from now on by Laura Oakley and Becky James(U7/U8). £5 A TICKET.
There will also be at the club for ALL THE FAMILY Camel Racing !! on 28th March 08.
Also an ADULT day at the Races ( Chepstow Sat 23rd Feb. Meet for breekie, few beers then off to the races for more b**r !! Sounds good to me. Price includes Minibus there and back-(2 Pick up Points Pilning and Bradley stoke).There are only 12 spaces , so come and see me if you are interested.
There is also to be arranged a BIG BARBECUE for all the club at the end of season / Summer
Also we have still with Billy in the Grounds APPEAL fund £650 which was raised by the Mini/Junior parents , which Billy will use next season. Thankyou All.
