Congratulations and a big thank-you to everyone who played at our festival this weekend. Well done to all trophy winners, especially the St Mary's U12's and U10's who were winners and joint winners of their age groups.

Festival Hall of Fame:

Congratulations to everyone who took part particularly the children who played some terrific rugby. Thanks for making the day worthwhile. Still awaiting final conformation of all results (watch this space).

Message from Dave Jones (minis chairman):

A huge thank you must go out to all of you who helped to make this years Festival such a great success. Without this help, and the support from our sponsors, our Festival would not be regarded as one of the best around.
Despite the freezing temperatures some of us endured the day before, luck was on our side and the sun came out on cue.
I lost count of the people who congratulated us on the organisation and how much they enjoyed the day.
The standard of rugby was excellent and St Mary’s performed well against old and new adversaries.

There are too many helpers to mention individually, but I would personally like to thank Steve Miller whose continued support of the Minis’ Section is largely responsible for it’s success.

Would all coaches now get your match reports to Kelly so we can read them all on the website.

Mini's Festival 2005

Congratulations and a big thank-you to everyone who played at our festival this weekend. It has been suggested this was our best festival yet. Well done to all trophy winners, especially the St Mary's U11's who were all winners of their age group.

Message from Steve Miller (minis chairman):

Thanks to every one for their help in making this the best St. Mary's Festival so far - a superb event, very well attended and a lovely atmosphere. It was nice to have some new teams and faces, and even the weather stayed on our side.

Great to see so many from the younger age groups involved, this is really appreciated and will be helpful for you all as I shall probably be looking to hand the festival down during the next year or so, though i would still like to be involved.

A big thank you to Sean who though not parentally involved in mini's any more acted as SPOC for the day. Though we gave his tent away, he was equally at home in the freelander, I think we need a yellow flashing light for it next year.

One of the big winners was mini rugby, a great standard of play, and great all round involvement. Don't forget to get your match reports and photos to Kelly, who will update the website accordingly.
