Welcome to SMOB Ladies Rugby Club site We are based in Bristol & play in Championship South West 2. We pride ourselves on being a very friendly & sociable team & enjoy our rugby to the full! Click on the links to the left to find out more about our team!! New Players Are Always Welcome.
We train Tuesday nights at our home ground, it starts at 7pm prompt, so please be in your kit & ready for action!! Don't forget to either wear boots, moulded's or astro's to training! Our matches are played on a Sunday afternoon, usually 2.30pm kick-off. Bideford Ladies 27 v SMOB Ladies 29 Huge win for SMOB Ladies away from home. A last minute try and converted kick gave them the much deserved win! It really was a whole team effort, with new and old players mixing it up to play their hearts out. The ground was seriously lacking in grass which made it hard to play on, but SMOB ladies dug deep and were put under a lot of pressure from the home side. They managed to find the strength and determination to keep driving onwards. With a total of 5 tries scored by each team, it really did come down to the power of the boot. Thankfully SMOB Ladies came through triumpant in the end. Huge well done to each and everyone of you, a special mention to all our new girls and the return of one of our old girls Sarah Nicholas, welcome back.
